22-year-old Taylor Fritz is the new American all-star. With an aggressive baseliner game style based on a devastating serve and forehand, as well as stunning angle shots, he’s following the path of America’s greatest players. At 21 years old, Fritz became the youngest American player to enter the ATP Top 25 since Andy Roddick. He has defeated 5 Top 10 players so far, including 2020 US Open champion Dominic Thiem. At 18 years old, he was the youngest ATP finalist since 2008. He went on to win his first title in 2019 Eastbourne. Combine his impressive results with his 6’4” stature, his Wall Street banker look and his Kennedy charm, you’ve got quite the hotshot. Fritz looks like he came straight out of Hollywood… and it’s not too far off. The California native is in it to win it at UTS.

Taylor can generate impressive and efficient cross-court angles both off his forehand and backhand side. It’s his favourite way to change the rhythm and get his opponents off the court.
